Traci Romero
Intake Coordinator
As Client Intake Coordinator, Traci is the first person you will likely communicate with at our office. She answers the phones and greets our clients as they arrive at the office. Traci was born in Washington DC and moved around quite a bit before landing in Georgia. She spent 8 years in the Air Force as a Police Officer. She currently lives in Lawrenceville, with her partner, Kim, and their 3 dogs and 2 cats. She enjoys spending time with her 3 grandchildren and watching the Georgia Bulldogs. Prior to joining our practice, Traci was a restaurant manager.
Kelsey Murrell
Legal Assistant
Kelsey assists our team with estate planning matters. Kelsey was born in Georgia, and grew up in Colorado and Virginia. She eventually made her way back to Decatur where she currently lives with her husband and two cats. She enjoys spending time outdoors and filling her home with plants. She loves reading (especially about psychology and medical history) and dabbles in yoga to stay active. Prior to joining our practice, Kelsey worked in the optical field for three years, selling and making glasses.
Karen Thomas
Benefits Specialist
Karen assists our team with Nursing Home Medicaid and VA benefits applications. Karen was born and raised in the City of Decatur. She is the proud mother to two beautiful kids and wife to a wonderful husband. Prior to this role, she worked as a Medicaid Eligibility Specialist for fifteen years. Karen currently lives in Covington, GA and enjoys traveling and spending time with her family & friends.
Russell Leasure
Paralegal
Russell assists our team with Probate and Guardianship cases. He is a part-time law student at Georgia State University College of Law. Russell was born and raised in South Georgia before moving to Athens to attend the University of Georgia, where he met his wife. After graduating in 2015, he worked as an HR professional for several years before changing careers during the COVID lock-down. Russell has worked for both the Gwinnett and Fulton County Probate Courts. Russell lives in Roswell with his wife, and they enjoy doing puzzles and escape rooms together.
